The  option under the Post-9/11 GI Bill® allows you to transfer all or some unused benefits to your spouse or children. 

Additional support:

  • The  portal is a central location for veterans, service members, and their families to learn about and manage their benefits and personal information. It offers a personalized workspace that provides quick access where you can apply for benefits, download your DD 214, view benefits status, and access other information as needed.
  •  is prescribed by geographic duty location, pay grade, and dependency status. Housing Allowance (MHA) payments you receive for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® are based on the military’s BAH rates for an E-5 with dependents.
